Character Introduction

Holden Caulfield
Now we don't know what exactly Holden looks like, only that he is tall, skinny, wears his hair in a crew cut. As for clothing the only really clear thing is the red hunting hat.

Holden Caulfield is a fictional character from the book The Catcher in The Rye by J.D. Salinger. This book takes place in the 50's, and Holden was born in 1933. He is awful at school, but it seems that he is more bored than he is actually dumb. He is very cynical and dark while describing things for a lot of the book, and tends to repeat his words to the audience. the book is about him telling the story of him being kicked out of his boarding school and the nights that follows while he hides away in the big city away from his parents.

Yusra Mardini

Yusra Mardini is an Olympic swimmer who is a refugee from Turkey. She is 18 years old and was born in 1998. She has an amazing story of how she saved an entire boatload of people by swimming them to shore. She represents the refugee community and how important it is to move on, "I want to represent all the refugees because I want to show everyone that after the pain and after the storm comes calm days," she said in an interview with the UN Refugee Agency.
